|I am an artist whose paintings range from landscapes and figures to abstracts in acrylics, pastels, watercolours, inks, and coloured pencils that reflect my love of nature and colour (somewhere in each painting there is a "heart" and "love".)
I completed art courses at the Federation of Canadian Artists in Vancouver and at the Shadbolt Centre for the Arts in Burnaby where I studied watercolours and other media, life drawing, and the painting techniques of the masters and their histories. I continue to add to my knowledge and skills by attending university-level art history lectures, life drawing sessions, classes, demonstrations and workshops by well-known artists.
My work has been exhibited at the Burnaby City Hall, Shadbolt Centre for the Arts, Burnaby Arts Council Gallery, Burnaby Art Gallery, Gallery of the Federation of Canadian Artists, Vancouver Courthouse, Place des Arts, New Westminster Arts Council Gallery, Richmond Art Gallery, Port Moody Arts Center, Firehall Centre for the Arts and Tsawwassen Longhouse Gallery. My paintings hang in private and corporate collections locally, nationally and internationally.
