Another year has passed with one foot deeply entrenched in a day job and the other dipped as far as possible in the creative world, and yet not dipped far enough to tip over and fall in. It has always been my dream to be able to walk (RUN) away from one and embrace the other fully...dreams are important, right? More and more my mind wanders into the what ifs and if onlys (okay, I am pretty sure that is not spelled right, but that is where creativity comes in), while reminding myself I should be grateful to have gainful employment that allows me to continue creating.

Say it with me....I am grateful for my day job. Although I am pretty sure I would be eternally grateful to have my night job become my day job. Pretty sure? Nope, positive.

Remember when I said a new camera and a photo box that I built myself could only mean better photos? NAIVE!! I will keep plugging away, and in the meantime, my most recent piece, Spirit Pendant II, has been added to my jewellery studio. Drop by and have a look, and in the meantime, I am going to continue to try and learn to use my camera and photo box!
