Featured Art

About the MyArtClub.Com Featured Artist program

A featured artist is selected randomly each day from the eligible groups featured artist and from individual artists. These random selections appear on the Featured Artists panel on the front page of MyArtClub.Com

Featured group artist selected art work is also shown automatically on their respective art group home page that day. That same featured art acts as the image representing the group under the Find Group page of MyArtClub.Com main pages.

Each artist chooses to participate by indicating which art works are available to be featured under the Basic Art Data associated with each art.

Artists who wish to add the short text associated with the featured artist, can do so by logging in, selecting your Basic Artist Data and then entering your "Artist Promotion" text.


Show me more

Join individual artists' and art group's mailing lists

When you sign up for "show me more" you are joining that specific artist or art groups public email lists. On almost every artist or art group website you will see the opportunity to add your email to their mailing list, often at the bottom of their home page.

When the artist or art group has news to share they will send you a personal email with a direct link to their latest work and any additional comments such as there show announcements.

We do not sell email addresses. Your email will only be used by the artist or art groups you select.

MyArtClub.Com offers you visiting services in two ways, as a "browsing guest" or as a "registered guest". Take a moment to learn more about our services.

MyArtClub.Com acts solely to present the artists online and is not paid commissions on any art sales. To purchase art contact the artist or their galleries directly as per contact information the artist provides on their website.

Browsing guest services:

1. Art is displayed in small "thumbnail" form for quick review.

2. Enlarge any art image by clicking on the small thumbnail image. The large image is shown with information such as Title, Size, Art Deion, Artist’s comments and so on. Click on any large size image to see a large image just on its own, uncluttered by text.

3. Searches: You can use the Find Art, Find Artist or Find Group features to locate the art or artist you seek or simply to browse art of interest.
Google search is available on the top right of our MyArtClub.Com pages allowing location of pages by keywords entered on MyArtClub.Com

4. Email to the artist: Our artists would love to hear from you! On each site we offer an email connection for you to send the artist directly your comments or questions. The site protects both you and the artist email address from spam. You may at your option provide a return contact email address.

5. Calendar of Events: The artists and their art groups hold many events during the year, and you are cordially invited to attend! View our online calendar to preview the artists works and be informed of exclusive openings!

Registered guest services (in addition to the above browsing services):

1. "Show Me More" You can join individual artists mailing lists. At the bottom of each artist web page, an entry form is shown for you to add you name and email to that specific artists mailing list. When the artist has news to share they will send you a personal email with a direct link to their latest work and any additional comments.

2. "Art/Artist Preferences". Login as a Guest to MyArtClub.Com to save searches for your personal quick retrieval. This lets you keep the specific preferences on file for your next visit. Save several searches to see directly what you want to see!

3. "Custom Alerts". Be alerted be email as often as you like if new art meeting your "Art/Artist Preferences" is loaded on the site.


Marketing Report
Free reports help artists make the most of having a MyArtClub.Com site

Artists' are sent a personal market report via monthly email providing a summary of progress and marketing features available with the particular MyArtClub.Com artist site to market art.

Features include monthly page view counts of visitors, notations on when last updated the site, space used / still available, featured artist promo text, emails on your list, emails received from the site, a personal link code, custom internet keywords, specific calendar listings and how to add to these entries.

MyArtClub.Com Terms and Conditions of Services for Artists and Art Groups

THE FOLLOWING DESCRIBES THE TERMS ON WHICH WE OFFER YOU SERVICES INCLUDING A MyArtClub.Com Web site. BY PRESSING THE "I ACCEPT - Sign me up" BUTTON, OR BY OTHERWISE CREATING A MyArtClub.Com ACCOUNT, YOU ACCEPT THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS BELOW.

If you do not accept these terms and conditions, you cannot have an account with MyArtClub.Com. If you have any questions, please contact [email protected].
These Terms of Service may be amended and, at any time by us from time to time without specific notice to you. The latest Terms of Service will apply to you, will be posted on our site, and you should review them prior to using the site.

Sampler sites: The sampler sites are permitted to load up to 3 images at no cost. Changes to sampler sites are no longer permitted after 60 days from sign up. Artist may include contact information and/or links to other websites in the text section of the art image pages. Changes are permitted at all times on paid artist and art group sites. Sampler sites remain active unless the artist requests to be removed. Removal consists of unlinking the artist name and images from MyArtClub.Com and our search tools, but may not immediately eliminate access via external search engine links. In addition, all other terms below apply:

1. Your MyArtClub.Com Artist Web site is allowed to create an artist web page, to post text 'jpeg' files of photographs of your original artwork, each jpeg file not exceeding 140 Kilobits in size, with the payment of the Standard artist sign up fee, or Premium artist sign up fee. Certain additional optional services are available at additional cost. A MyArtClub.Com Art Group web site is allowed use of a MyArtClub.Com group page with the payment of the art group sign up fee, also with certain additional services being available at additional cost. All new artist accounts include a domain name.

2. You are responsible for paying all applicable taxes and for all hardware, software, service and other costs you incur to access your MyArtClub.Com web site and our servers. We may add, delete or change some or all of the services provided for free at any time in our sole discretion.

3. You shall comply with all laws and regulations applicable to your use of your MyArtClub.Com web site. You warrant that the content you provide is your original work, and that you hold MyArtClub.Com clear from and not responsible for any copyright infringement which occurs from what ever content you may post on your Artist or Group web pages.

4. We may terminate your MyArtClub.Com Web site immediately if you breach these Terms of Service, or if we are unable to verify or authenticate any information you provide to us, without refund of fees paid to MyArtClub.Com. We may also terminate your MyArtClub.Com Web site if we decide, in our sole discretion, to discontinue offering our services. Following termination, we may remove some or all of your content from our servers or elect to retain it, at our sole option.

5. Although security and privacy issues are very important to us, given the current regulatory and technical environment you should not have an expectation of total privacy for your MyArtClub.Com Web site or any content or information associated with it. By way of example (without limiting the foregoing), we may be forced to disclose information to the government or third parties under certain circumstances, or third parties may unlawfully intercept your private communications. We cannot ensure that all private communications or information associated with your MyArtClub.Com Web site will remain private or secure. Furthermore, MyArtClub.Com cannot be held responsible for internet fraud damages suffered by artists or art groups due to unscrupulous third parties solicitations, such as unwanted emails (spam), phone calls, or damage suffered if such solicitations are accepted by artists or art groups on MyArtClub.Com.

6. No "Spamming": Any artist or art group assumes full responsibility for meeting the Canadian Anti Spamming Legislation ( CASL) government requirements including but not limited to their mailing list being up to date, and that for all the email addresses being sent to that express or implied consent has been obtained. Essentially the sender confirms they are aware and understand the new CASL legislation referenced above, and that if necessary they have consulted professional legal advice. Users may not use MyArtClub.Com services or features for chain letters, junk mail, bulk emails, marketing emails, or "spamming". Additionally users may not send emails to any person who has not specifically provided them permission to send them emails. NOTE: The use of 3rd party email lists is strictly prohibited. If any user uses the Service for spam, MyArtClub.Com reserves the right to immediately terminate access to the Service and to seek appropriate legal recourse. All users must agree to use MyArtClub.Com in accordance with the CASL - Canadian Anti Spam Legislation CASL - Canadian Anti Spam Legislation all other applicable Canadian, Provincial, local, and international laws. You must promptly inform MyArtClub.Com of actual or apparent breaches of security, such as loss, theft, or authorized disclosure or use of a User Account or password. Until MyArtClub.Com is notified by email of a breach in security, you will remain liable for any unauthorized use of the MyArtClub.Com Service through your account. WE AND OUR SUPPLIERS PROVIDE OUR SERVICES AND YOUR MyArtClub.Com Web site "AS IS" AND WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY OR CONDITION OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR USE. THE INFORMATION AND SERVICE ON OUR SITE MAY CONTAIN BUGS, ERRORS, PROBLEMS, OR OTHER LIMITATIONS. WE AND OUR PARTNERS HAVE NO LIBILITY WHATSOEVER FOR YOUR USE OF ANY INFORMATION OR SERVICE. 11.4 Solely for the purposes of displaying your MyArtClub.Com Web site on the Internet and for MyArtClub.Com 's advertising and promotional purposes, you hereby grant to us the right to exercise all intellectual property rights, in any media now known or not currently known, with respect to any content you place on your MyArtClub.Com Web site.

12. User Conduct: MyArtClub.Com reserves the right-but does not assume the responsibility-to monitor or review your MyArtClub.Com Service conduct. Your use of the MyArtClub.Com Service is subject to all applicable local, state, national, and international laws and regulations. MyArtClub.Com shall not be liable to you or any third party for termination of the MyArtClub.Com Service or termination of your use of the MyArtClub.Com Service. If you object to any terms and conditions of the Agreement or any subsequent modifications MyArtClub.Com makes to the Agreement, or become dissatisfied with the MyArtClub.Com Service in any way, your only recourse is to immediately: (1) discontinue use of the MyArtClub.Com Service and (2) notify MyArtClub.Com of your termination and, at your discretion, notify MyArtClub.Com of the reasons for your termination. These Terms of Service shall be governed in all respects by the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada as such laws are applied to agreements entered into and to be performed entirely within British Columbia between British Columbia residents. Both parties submit to jurisdiction in British Columbia and further agree that any cause of action arising under these Terms of Service shall be brought in a court in Coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada. If any provision of these Terms of Service is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck and the remaining provisions shall be enforced. Our failure to act with respect to a breach by you or others does not waive our right to act with respect to subsequent or similar breaches. You may not assign or transfer these Terms of Service or your rights in your MyArtClub.Com Web site, and any attempt to the contrary is void. The visitor who becomes a buyer does not hold MyARtClub.Com responsible or liable for any aspect of any transaction. MyArtClub.Com does supply gift certificates for use with artists and members of art groups who have paid for website listings with MyArtClub.Com, which help pay artists directly, solely upon the received direction of the gift certificate holder, and limited to the unused value of the certificate.

4. MyArtClub.Com, its artists and art groups, offer visitors the ability to sign up for email to be sent to an address the visitor specifies. MyArtClub.Com assumes no liability for abuse of email, including but not limited to, delays in removing a name from an email list, offensive contents or other objectionable uses of the email system. 9.2 You understand that the artist and / or the art group, and not MyArtClub.Com, is responsible to ensure for the content distributed through an artist or art group's MyArtClub.Com Web site: (a) shall not infringe any third party's copyright, patent, trademark, trade secret or other proprietary rights or rights of publicity or privacy; (b) shall not violate any law, statute, ordinance or regulation (including without limitation the laws and regulations governing export control, unfair competition, antidiscrimination or false advertising); (c) shall not be defamatory, trade libellous, unlawfully threatening or unlawfully harassing; (d) shall not be obscene or contain child pornography or be otherwise pornographic or indecent, and (e) shall not contain any viruses, trojan horses, worms, time bombs, cancelbots or other computer programming routines that are intended to damage, detrimentally interfere with, surreptitiously intercept or expropriate any system, data or personal information. These Terms of Service for Visitors shall be governed in all respects by the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada as such laws are applied to agreements entered into and to be performed entirely within British Columbia between British Columbia residents. Both parties submit to jurisdiction in British Columbia and further agree that any cause of action arising under these Terms of Service shall be brought in a court in Coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada. If any provision of these Terms of Service is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck and the remaining provisions shall be enforced. We have been several months in the planning and creation of a whole new look, which includes requests over the years, and we hope will make your visit experience more enjoyable.

You can easily get your password sent to your email.

Here is how:
First click on the "Members" box in the tool bar and look for "Forget your password?" in the lower left of the sign up screen.

Follow the instructions to enter your email address that you use to sign into MyArtClub.Com in the box shown.

Then click on the grey box marked "Password" just below.

After you press enter, you should go then to your email program, and look for a new message from MyArtClub.Com.

MyArtClub.Com will create a new password and send it to you in your email.
Return to the "Members" screen and use your email address and new password to sign into MyArtClub.Com.
From the Main Member's screen you can change your new password to any one that you select.
How much does it cost to join MyArtClub.Com?

All regular services provided by My ArtClub.Com to artists are included in one low price of $44.95 Canadian Funds per year plus applicable taxes.

Artists receive a base capacity for 20 artworks, their own unique domain name or URL, and many more features!
Additional capacity is available for artists to add 10 further artworks for $14.95 Cdn Funds

No commissions are charged.
No taxes are currently chargeable by MyArtClub.Com. Artists are responsible for any local taxes if applicable.

Premium websites offer a URL and up to 100 images. They cost $9.95 per month if paid on an annual basis - so you pay $119.40 one time a year.

Artist group sites start at $34.95 per year, and start with ability to display 25 images at one time.

How does an artist get started with MyArtClub.Com?

First step is to set up an your account with MyArtClub.Com.
An artist account is set up following two easy steps:
(1) Click on the "Members" box in the tool bar. Then click on the "Click here to start your own website and sign up using your email address and other basic information about you.
(2) Pay by credit card or cheque.

If you are ready to start building your artist site, you may begin immediately after sign up!

To sign up now, click on the "Join" option on the top menu bar.

Or you can try out our site for 60 days for free. Load up three of your art images under our "Sampler Site" and experience just how easy it is to set up your own site on MyArtClub.Com.
How does an art group get started with MyArtClub.Com?

For an art group to get started, the first step is to open a group account.
NOTE: You must already have a MyArtClub.Com artist account to begin, or must email us at [email protected]
If you are not currently an artist on this site, click on the "Members" box in the tool bar. Then click on the "Click here to start your own website".
An art group account is set up following three easy steps:
(1) Click on the "Update Site" box in the tool bar and sign in using your artist’s account email and password
(2) Click on the grey "Add new Group" button and enter your group information, such as group name, etc.
(3) Pay by credit card or cheque.
If you are ready to enter content into your new art group site, you may begin immediately after sign up.

Click on the "Members" box in the tool bar and sign in as an artist to begin the group sign up process.

To start your new art group site, locate the "Add New Group" grey button at the bottom of the main member’s page after you have logged in from the "Members" page.
How do I create a web page as an artist?
After you have opened an account, click on the "Members" button in the tool bar and log in with your email ID and password.

You then have a choice of entering information about your self, or about your art. Select what you wish to edit, and then complete these three steps:
1. Fill in forms - this creates the content of your site
2. Post the text form
3. Upload digital photo files
You have now modified your site!

To review what you have created, visit your site.
To find your site, simply click on the "Find Artist" box in the tool bar, select your name and press the grey "GO" button.

If you want to make further changes, you can immediately go back to edit, by repeating the above steps.

To get ready to create your site, you might prepare some of this information in advance:

  • prepare digital files of photos of any your art works you wish to post on the internet. Click on the tool bar selection Help(Tips), to learn about ways to digitize photos.
  • prepare written information about what inspired each artwork, or what techniques were used.
  • prepare personal biographical information, including perhaps a photo of yourself.

To view an example, see the 'Art Meister' artist site. This site shows what kinds of information can be placed on any artist's site. Click on the tool bar box "Find Artist", select 'Art Meister' and then press the grey "GO" button.
How does our group create a MyArtClub.Com art group web page?
Click on the tool bar "Members" button and sign in with your artist email account.
You are then presented with choices of pages to edit.
If your group has not been added to this site, click on the grey box at the end of the page "Add New Group" and follow instructions.
If your group exists already, and you are permitted access as art group editor, you will see near the bottom of the page, "Maintain Information About Group". Click on this button.

You are then presented a choice of types of information to enter or edit. Follow these three steps to create an art group site:
1. Fill in the "group data" form - this records the required details about the art group
2. Fill in optional "group category" forms of interest - this creates the optional content of your site
3. Post the "group category" content forms - you have now created a group web page.

To view your group site, click on the tool bar "Find Group" button, then select your group, and press the grey "GO" button.
You will see the actual content created on your art group site.
You may then edit immeditately by clicking on Members and repeating the above steps.

How often can changes be made to the Group or Artist web pages?

As often as you like! We encourage you to do so.

Access your site to make a change by clicking on the tool bar button "Members" at the top of the screen. Then enter your password, and choose what part of your site you wish to change!

After changes are made, take a look at what you changed, just like any visitor would. Go to the site by clicking on "Find Artist", or "Find Group"

If the page created is not just the way you wanted it, go back and change it again - right away! This way you have instant feedback of just how your site looks to the world.
Don't like something about your site? Change it!
In fact, the key to having visitors return to your site, is to update your content frequently.
To a visitor, your site is very much like a magazine - after you have read it, you look forward to the next issue.
Can I have my own artist or group web address?

You can have your own artist or group web address which points to the MyArtClub.Com web pages that you have built!.

Every site includes it's own URL. When you sign up from your members site, tell us the name you would like to have. We recommend you use a name that includes your artist name or group name, as often visitors will guess what your site name is.

Note: Here is a summary of the rules for your domain name as found on www.cira.ca

3. ADMISSIBLE DOMAIN NAMES
All Registration Requests will be subject to the following rules regarding admissible Domain Names:
3.1 Acceptable Characters. No characters other than a combination of the following characters may be included in a Domain Name Registration:
(a) Letters a through z (no accents of any kind will be accepted). Note that Domain Names are not case sensitive. This means there will be no distinction made between upper case letters and lower case letters (A = a);
(b) The numbers 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and/or 9; and
(c) The hyphen character (although it cannot be used to start or end a Domain Name).
3.2 Length. Domain names must be not less than two (2) and not greater than fifty (50) characters long.
How do I get my own web address?

When you create your site, we provide a tool that allows you to look up your own web address (URL) and find a web address that is not currently in use.

You can search on a name and once you have found one that you like (and also one that is available - no easy feat!) you can include your choice in your signup.

We will then register your chosen domain name and assign it to your site.
How do I point my domain name to my MyArtClub.Com site?

If you have purchased your own domain name and want to point it to your MyArtClub.Com web site, you need to return to the registrar site where you purchased your domain name and sign in to your account using the registrar User ID and registrar Password that they sent you. When you are signed in, click on Domain Administration and then click on your domain name .

Click on the EDIT button on the Domain Name Server section and enter the following information into the primary and secondary domain name server fields

Primary DNS Name:      ns1.paconline.net
Primary DNS IP:   66.51.160.2
Secondary DNS Name:   ns2.paconline.net
Secondary DNS IP:   66.51.161.2

and then click on the save button.

Don't forget to send an email to us as well with your domain name. We have changes to make at our end to point it to your web pages.

It will take up to 2-3 days for the address to propogate across the web and then when you type in your web address it will go to your MyArtClub.Com web site.

What does MyArtClub.Com offer?
Each artist chooses whether to participate in the Featured Artist program by indicating for each of the art works they have loaded on their site whether it is eligible (i.e.available) to be featured. Any of their MyArtClub.Com art which is marked as eligible will be included in the program. A featured artist is automatically selected for each club from among their club's artists' eligible works. That selected artist's work is shown automatically on the club home page for that day. A featured artist is selected randomly each day from all of the eligible works from individual artists.
Who can join MyArtClub.Com?

MyArtClub.Com welcomes all artists and art groups.
There are no restrictions on the level of skill, or experience, of the artists.

In the spirit of all groups, MyArtClub.Com is here to let the more experienced help those who are just beginning.
What kinds of art may be shown?

How do we define "art"?

Generally we mean "art" which could be found in a gallery or museum.

The site currently is focused on original paintings. No attempt is implied to exclude other forms such as original sculpture, carvings, etc.

MyArtClub.Com would like to hear from you if you want other forms of art to be integrated into this site. Click on the side bar words "Contact Us" to send us an email describing the kind of art you'd like to include.

Artists posting to their site assume full responsibility for their content pages to ensure all posted words or pictures meet are acceptable to the general public for display. All works are to represent originals created by the artist, and are to be free of copyright by others. All artists must adhere to the site terms and conditions they agree to when signing up.
What promotions benefit MyArtClub.Com members?

MyArtClub.Com members benefit from both site and each others promotions.
MyArtClub.Com works to bring in more members, creating more site visitors for all artists.
As artists and groups, promotion is mainly to the local regional buyer. Some out of town galleries would also be appropriate targets. Your buyers who are intrigued with the art shown on the internet, generally prefer, if possible, to view the art in person before committing to a purchase. Buyers that are easiest to target are those who are either close to the artist, or to the gallery where the artist is shown.

To reach this buyer, or gallery, the artist and art group needs the right promotional tools to succeed.

The artist and the buyer are responsible for arranging all aspects related to selling and purchasing of the art.
